Michael is an international consultant, professor and academic dean with extensive experience in large groups, SMEs, and universities. Michael’s teaching experience covers Afghanistan, Albania, Bahrain, China, Congo, the Czech Republic, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Iran, Italy, Macedonia, and Sweden. He has a Bachelor and Master degrees in biochemistry, an MBA and Mphil in industrial history and geography, and a PhD in social sciences.
Adiya is a student, currently obtaining a bachelor’s degree at the International Institute in Geneva and the University of Plymouth in the domain of International Relations and Business Administration. She is also a member of Student Council, where as part of her duties she takes part in numerous fundraising events and charities.
Dicko is an international consultant and specialist in training and business development. He is working on the creation of a high-fidelity simulation center in Senegal for the training of doctors, medical specialists and paramedics. He is also involved in the launching of a training and biotech research institute in Senegal and Burkina Faso. Dicko has an MSc and PhD in Business administration from the University of Sherbrooke, where he was a lecturer and research fellow, a graduate diploma in Development Studies from the University of Geneva and a Bachelor degree from l’École Nationale d’Économie Appliquée in Dakar.
Alun works as a director at Geti Trade S.A. and leads consumer product launches for various regions in Africa. He has many years of experience in the fields of trade, program management and government communication. Alun provides advice to the team on an ad hoc basis as well as contributing to GDCOO research. He obtained an MSc from the University of Edinburgh specializing in international business and emerging markets.
Victoria Brito
Victoria graduated with honors from Rollins College in Florida, where she studied International Business and Spanish. Her vision to improve healthcare access drives her local, national, and international initiatives. She has served uninsured patients in Orlando, advocated for indigenous communities in South Dakota, and enhanced maternal care for underserved women through an NGO in Switzerland. Victoria is a cofounder of DermatoGraphix, a platform enhancing and increasing access to dermatology education for medical students and doctors, which combines her passion for healthcare and innovation with her background in international business.
Alexia J. Butler is a Masters candidate for the SIT Graduate Institute's Diplomacy and International Relations program. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science with a certificate in Global Peace and Security. Butler has done numerous research articles on international power dynamics, climate change, sustainability, and human rights violations. She is currently abroad as she hones her interests in international multilateralism, sustainability, and continental solidarity.
Liam is a contributor to GDCOO and is also currently a Masters student at the SIT Graduate Institute where he studies Diplomacy and International Relations. Prior to his Masters, Liam worked at the African Centre for the Constructive Resolution of Disputes based in Durban, South Africa. He also has an Honours degree in International Relations from Stellenbosch University in South Africa. Liam’s interests lie in Geopolitical research and Political Risk.
Radmila works as Associate to the Ambassador at the Embassy of Bangaldesh in The Hague. As part of her work at the Embassy she acts as a Super Focal Point within The Hague Chapter of International Gender Champions and in addition is a student mentor at the University of Geneva. Radmila holds an MBA from the University of Geneva.
Harneet is an international relations specialist with the Master of International Relations and Diplomacy from the International University in Geneva. She has experience working in the non-profit world managing projects, leading the administrative department, assisting the communications team, and conducting research. Harneet is interested in think tank policy research focusing on foreign policy, counterterrorism, and international security.
Zafeiria is Assistant to the Director of Bachelors Admissions and International Partnerships at the International University in Geneva. She was a Consular Assistant Intern at the Embassy of Greece in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. Zafeiria is completing a Masters in International Relations and Diplomacy at the International University in Geneva and holds a Bachelors in Communication and Media Studies from the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens.
David Peterson is an economics major at the University of Virginia with a keen interest in global sustainable development. He is an active contributor to the Geneva Desk for Cooperation (GDCOO), where he shares his expertise on topics related to sustainable development. David has a strong commitment to finding innovative solutions to global challenges, particularly in the climate change space.
Tooka is working as a Virtual Administration Specialist at Learnlight. Her main research areas of interest are sustainable development and sustainable living. Tooka holds a Master's degree in International Relations from the International University in Geneva, and also a Masters in Sustainable Tourism Management from Polytechnic of Leiria-School of Tourism and Maritime Technology.
Isha is a contributor to GDCOO and also has varied experience working with the Toilet Board Coalition and the Agape Foundation. She is pursuing a Bachelor of Arts with a focus on Economics and Anthropology at Bennington college and is well grounded in academic research including inequality, poverty and development.
Alessandra is a GDCOO contributor and has extensive experience working as an international fundraiser, with a focus on Sustainable Development and the 2030 Agenda. She has studied in the United States and Geneva, Switzerland. While in Geneva Alessandra obtained a Master’s in International Relations and Diplomacy and interned at the United Nations. Alessandra has a multicultural background and a particular interest in other cultures, languages, and international relations.
Julia is a researcher on sustainable development at the Russian Council on Foreign Affairs as well as the Diplomatic Academy of the Russian Ministry for Foreign Affairs. Her research interests encompass sustainable development, political science and the climate change economy. Julia has studied at the London School of Economics and the Diplomatic Academy of Russia's Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
